Taxi Simulator gives you the role of a city taxi driver. Your main job is to find passengers, pick them up, and take them to the right destination. The game has a clear focus on driving and passenger service. You follow direction markers through the streets and try to finish each ride within the time given for the trip.
The game offers three main ways to play. Work Mode gives you a series of taxi jobs. Free Mode lets you drive around for longer and continue taking passengers. Career Mode keeps a record of your progress as you build your driving experience.
Complete Taxi Jobs
Work Mode contains 80 levels. Each level asks you to find a customer and take the passenger to a marked destination. Blue direction signs help you follow the route. You also need to watch the time because each job has a time limit. Reaching the destination within the given time helps you earn better results.
The game also uses yellow stars to measure your performance. You can earn three yellow stars by finding the customer and completing the trip within the required time. This gives you another reason to learn the city routes and improve your driving.
Parking does not add another difficult step after you reach the marked area. Entering the green zone completes the parking part automatically. This keeps the main challenge on driving through the streets and reaching passengers on time.
Try Free Mode
Taxi Simulator also includes Free Mode for players who want a more open driving experience. This mode lets you travel farther than Work Mode. You can keep finding new customers without needing to complete a level before starting another ride.
Free Mode also adds fuel management. You need to visit a gas station and pay for fuel during your trips. This gives the open driving mode another small task to think about while you work with passengers.
The game includes ten cars in the garage. Each car has its own power, torque, traction, weight, and condition. Earning enough money lets you buy other cars and try different vehicles.
Drive Carefully and Improve
Good driving helps you finish taxi jobs more easily. Slowing down before a turn gives you more time to steer. Following the blue markers also makes it easier to find customers and destinations without taking unnecessary turns.
