Take Aim With Your Tank

Tank Wars is an artillery battle game where two tanks face each other across uneven ground. Your job is to destroy the opposing tank before it destroys yours. The game does not rely on rapid shooting. Each attack needs careful aiming because the shell travels through the air in an arc.

You can move your tank left and right to find a better firing position. The surrounding terrain can make a direct shot impossible, so changing position sometimes gives you a much clearer angle.

Adjust the Cannon and Shot Power

The arrow keys control the tank and its cannon. Left and right move the vehicle. Up and down change the angle of the turret.

You can also control how strongly the cannon fires. The A and Z keys change the shot velocity, while the Spacebar fires the shell.

A high angle sends the shell upward before it drops toward the target. More power makes the shot travel farther. A small change in either setting can make the difference between a direct hit and a complete miss.

Watch How the Battlefield Changes

Tank Wars includes destructible ground. Cannon shells can damage the landscape and create holes in the terrain. This means the battlefield can change during the fight. A missed shot may still affect the next attack by removing cover or changing the ground around a tank.

You need to adjust your aim after seeing where each shell lands. If the shot falls short, add power or change the cannon angle. If it flies too far, reduce the strength.

Win With Accurate Shots

Tank Wars rewards patience and careful judging more than random firing. You need to think about distance, cannon angle, shot strength, and the shape of the ground.

The controls remain easy to remember, yet landing a perfect shell takes practice. Move into a useful position, line up the cannon, choose the right amount of power, and keep adjusting until you can hit the enemy tank before it lands the winning shot.
