Take a Fighter Into an Alien War

Shadowhawks Squadron is a 3D space shooting game where you pilot a combat craft against alien forces.

The game gives you two main ways to play. Campaign mode sends you through missions connected with saving humanity. Survival mode removes the normal mission structure and asks you to stay alive against enemy waves for as long as possible.

Both modes focus on fast movement, aiming, and destroying hostile spacecraft before they overwhelm you.

Control More Than Your Weapons

Your ship can do more than fly forward and shoot.

Mouse movement handles aiming and control, while keyboard commands let you change speed and move sideways. W increases speed, S decreases it, and A/D handle strafing.

Being able to slow down can help when several enemies appear in front of you. Speeding up becomes useful when you need to move through an open area or escape danger.

Strafing gives you another way to avoid incoming attacks without completely changing your direction.

Use Guns and Missiles

The fighter carries normal weapons along with missiles.

Mouse buttons handle the main shooting actions, so you can keep your attention on targets instead of reaching across the keyboard for every attack.

Missiles become useful when normal gunfire is not enough or when you want to deal heavier damage to an important target.

The game rewards careful targeting because space can quickly become crowded with hostile ships.

Choose Missions or Endless Survival

Campaign mode gives your battles a clear objective.

You work through different missions and fight as part of the effort to protect humanity.

Survival mode changes the goal. There is no comfortable finish after one short encounter. Enemy waves continue, and your job is to survive as long as you can.

This mode works well when you want to test your flying and shooting without following the campaign.

Shadowhawks Squadron combines 3D space flight with arcade shooting. You need to manage speed, strafe away from danger, aim carefully, fire your weapons, and decide when a missile is worth using.

The two modes give the same controls different purposes. Campaign play is about completing missions. Survival is about holding on when the enemies refuse to stop coming.
