Remove the Purple Shapes

Purple Invaders is a physics puzzle game built around a simple goal. The player needs to remove the purple shapes while keeping the green shapes safe. The game uses gravity and moving objects to create each puzzle. Instead of controlling a character, players click certain shapes and watch what happens next. Every action can change the position of the remaining objects, so a careless click can make a green shape fall away.

Purple Invaders contains 30 levels. The early stages introduce the basic idea and give players time to understand how the shapes behave. Later levels add more difficult arrangements and require more careful planning. The puzzles become harder as the game continues, with some stages requiring precise timing and a clear understanding of how gravity will affect each object.

Think Before Every Click

The main control in Purple Invaders is the mouse. Players click on shapes that can be removed and then watch the remaining pieces move. The important part comes from choosing the correct shape to remove first. One purple shape may support another object, block a path, or keep a green shape in place. Removing it can cause several objects to move at once.

Gravity also changes direction in some stages. The shapes can fall toward different sides of the level, so players need to understand where an object will travel after another piece disappears. This gives the puzzles more variety and stops the game from becoming a simple matter of clicking every purple object.

Protect the Green Shapes

The green shapes are the objects that players need to protect. A level is not complete just because the purple invaders disappear. The green shapes must remain on the screen as well. Blue shapes can also be removed when needed, which gives players another tool for changing the layout of a puzzle.

Some purple shapes cannot simply be clicked away. Certain shapes have a different behavior and require the player to find another method to make them leave. This adds another layer to the puzzles and encourages players to study the arrangement before making a move.

A Puzzle Game That Gets Harder

Purple Invaders keeps its controls simple, but the puzzles demand careful thinking. Players need to consider what will happen after every click and how the shapes will move under gravity. A solution that works in one level may not help in the next because the shapes can appear in completely different positions.

The game also includes a level editor, which gives players a chance to create their own puzzles. That feature adds another part to the experience beyond the original 30 levels.

Purple Invaders is a good fit for players who enjoy short physics puzzles and games that reward careful planning. Its bright shapes, simple mouse controls, changing gravity, and increasingly difficult levels create a focused challenge. The goal stays easy to understand throughout the game, while finding the right sequence of moves keeps each level interesting.
