Sort the Colored Water

Liquid Puzzle is a sorting game where several glasses contain layers of differently colored liquid. Your goal is to rearrange the water until each glass holds only one color.

The first levels make the idea easy to understand. Later stages give you more colors and more complicated starting arrangements. A few careless pours can leave the liquids stuck in positions that are difficult to fix.

Pour From One Glass Into Another

You play Liquid Puzzle with the mouse or touchscreen. Select one glass and then choose another glass to pour the top section of liquid into it.

You cannot always pour wherever you want. The receiving glass needs enough empty space. Useful versions of the puzzle also require the top colors to match before one liquid can go on top of another.

This simple rule creates most of the challenge.

For example, you may see two blue sections in different glasses. Moving one toward the other sounds easy, but another color may sit on top and block the move.

Keep an Empty Glass Useful

Empty space can help you move colors around. An empty glass gives you somewhere to place a temporary layer while uncovering a color underneath.

Filling every spare glass too early can make the puzzle much harder. It helps to keep at least one useful space available while you organize the other colors.

Look at several moves ahead before pouring. A move that seems helpful now can block an important color later.

Finish With One Color in Each Container

A level ends after you separate the mixed liquids into clean groups. Each completed glass should contain a single color instead of several different layers.

There is no need for fast reactions. Liquid Puzzle focuses on logic and planning.

Start with colors that are easy to join. Use empty spaces carefully. Avoid burying a useful color under another layer. As more glasses and colors appear, each puzzle requires a little more thought.

Liquid Puzzle takes one simple action, pouring water between glasses, and turns it into a relaxing but increasingly tricky sorting challenge.
