Funny Land

Fill the Screen and Reveal the Picture
Funny Land is a classic Flash puzzle and skill game inspired by the old arcade style of Qix. The main goal is to cover a large part of the play area and reveal the hidden picture underneath. Players need to fill at least a set portion of the screen before moving to the next level. The game also adds a time limit, so careful movement matters from the start.
The play area has an open section where dangerous enemies move around. Your character begins along the border of the screen. From there, the character can move around the edge and then travel into the empty area to create a new section. Once the character returns safely to the border, that space becomes filled. The aim is to create enough filled areas to reach the required percentage.
Watch the Moving Enemies
Funny Land is not only about filling empty space. Moving enemies can make each attempt harder. They can hit the character while a new area is being created. They can also interfere with the active line that forms during the move. A collision costs a life, so players need to choose safe moments before leaving the border.
The game rewards patience and good timing. A player may want to make a large area in one move, but a smaller section can sometimes offer a safer route. Watching the movement of the enemies helps you decide when to start and when to return.
Simple Keyboard Controls
The controls in Funny Land stay easy to learn. The arrow keys move the character around the play area. The Spacebar helps the character leave the border and create a new boundary through the open section. Releasing the key sends the character back toward the border at higher speed.
The simple controls make the basic rules easy to understand, but reaching the target percentage still requires attention. The limited time adds another layer to each level.
A Puzzle Game With a Clear Goal
Funny Land combines movement, timing, and area filling in a simple format. Each level gives players one clear task: cover enough of the screen while avoiding the moving dangers. The hidden artwork gives the progress a visual reward as more of the area becomes filled.
With its old-school Flash style, straightforward controls, and changing enemy movement, Funny Land offers a focused puzzle challenge for players who enjoy games based on planning and quick reactions.
