Cut the Rope: Experiments

Help the Professor Feed Om Nom
Cut the Rope: Experiments is a physics puzzle game where the candy-loving Om Nom becomes part of a scientist’s strange experiments.
The Professor studies Om Nom and sets up rooms filled with ropes, gadgets, and other objects. Your job stays clear in every level. Get the candy into Om Nom’s mouth while trying to collect the stars placed around the puzzle.
Cut the Rope at the Right Moment
Candy often hangs from one or more ropes.
Swipe across a rope to cut it.
Gravity and momentum then control where the candy moves. Cutting one rope can make the sweet swing. Cutting another at the correct moment may send it toward a star or directly toward Om Nom.
Timing matters.
An early cut may send the candy in the wrong direction. Waiting too long can make it miss a star or fall out of the level.
Collect Up to Three Stars
Every puzzle contains three stars.
You do not always need all three to finish, but collecting them gives you a better result and helps with progression. The candy must still reach Om Nom for the level to count as complete.
This creates two ways to approach a puzzle.
You can first find a safe solution that feeds Om Nom, then return and work out how to collect every star.
Experiment With New Gadgets
This entry adds many tools that change how the candy moves.
The puzzles introduce equipment such as suction cups, rope shooters, rockets, magnets, water, robotic arms, electricity, and even ants.
Each new tool creates another type of problem.
A suction cup can hold something in place. A rocket may send the candy across the screen. Water changes how objects move. Magnets can pull the candy toward another point.
You need to understand how each device works before combining it with ropes and gravity.
Work Through a Large Collection of Experiments
The full game contains 200 physics puzzles across eight level packs.
New mechanics appear as you progress, so later stages ask you to combine several ideas at once.
The game also includes hidden pictures and other secrets that give careful players more things to find.
Think Before You Cut
Cut the Rope: Experiments works because the controls stay simple while the puzzles keep changing.
You may only need to swipe a rope or tap a gadget, but doing those actions in the correct order can take several attempts.
Watch how the candy swings. Look at where the stars are placed. Test the gadgets. Restart when an idea fails.
Every successful solution ends the same way: the candy reaches Om Nom. The interesting part is figuring out how to get it there.
