Watch the Platforms

The platforms form the main path through Lava.IO. You move between nearby platforms because the character cannot simply jump across large empty spaces. Some areas also contain safer sections where you can pause for a moment and plan the next move.

Another player can also make your journey harder. Only one player can occupy certain platforms at a time, which means players may compete for useful spaces. You may need to choose another route when an opponent takes the platform you want. In some situations, blocking another player can also help you survive longer.

Balance Risk and Reward

Lava.IO rewards players who know when to take a risk. Staying in a safe area can protect you, but the best diamonds may sit farther away. Moving deeper into the map can increase your score while also putting you closer to disappearing platforms and the lava.

Good movement depends on watching the whole area instead of focusing only on the nearest diamond. A safe route can change quickly when platforms start disappearing. Careful players can use larger safe sections to plan their next series of moves before taking another risky step.
