Candy Crush

A Fast Candy-Matching Puzzle
Candy Crush is the original candy-matching browser game that comes before Candy Crush Saga. The game keeps things simple. You get a board filled with colorful candies and a limited amount of time to build the highest score you can.
The main rule is easy to understand. Swap two candies that sit next to each other. The move must create a horizontal or vertical group of at least three candies of the same color. Those candies disappear and new pieces fall into the empty spaces. This can sometimes create another match without another move.
Candy Crush gives you four minutes to play. That time limit makes the game feel different from puzzle games where you can study the board for as long as you want. You need to spot useful matches without wasting too much time.
Special Candies and Bigger Matches
Groups of four or more candies can create special pieces. These candies have stronger effects than a normal match. They can clear larger parts of the board and help you raise your score faster.
Special candies become even more useful when you combine them. A good combination can remove many pieces at once. This also opens fresh spaces on the board and may start extra matches.
The best move is not always the first group of three you notice. Looking for matches of four or five candies can lead to a much better result.
Simple Rules With a Score Challenge
Candy Crush uses a straightforward idea that takes only a short time to learn. The challenge comes from playing efficiently before the timer reaches zero.
Keeping an eye on the whole board helps. Matches near the bottom can cause many candies above them to fall. That movement may create free matches and extra points.
Candy Crush works well as a short puzzle game because every session gives you another chance to improve your score. You can focus on faster matching, better special candies, and stronger combinations each time you play.
