Gumball: Disc Duel – Battle for the Trophy in Elmore

Gumball: Disc Duel is a sports game based on The Amazing World of Gumball. Gumball and his friends meet in the school gym for a tournament built around throwing a disc past an opponent. The basic idea feels a little like air hockey, but both characters can move freely around their own side of the court.

You can play against the computer or invite another player to compete on the same computer. Several familiar characters from Elmore can take part, including Gumball, Darwin, Anais, Penny, and others.

Catch the Disc and Fire It Back

Each player protects one side of the field.

When the disc comes toward your character, you can catch it and throw it back. Getting the disc past the opponent scores a point.

A normal straight throw is useful, but Disc Duel gives you more ways to attack.

You can bounce the disc from the walls to change its path. A curved or slice-style shot can make it harder for the other player to predict where the disc will travel.

There is also a stronger special attack. This gives you another option when a normal throw is too easy for the opponent to catch.

The best attacks often come from changing your approach. Throwing straight every time gives the other player a simple pattern to follow. Wall rebounds and unusual angles make the next shot less predictable.

Work Through the Tournament

Single-player mode places you against different characters as you continue through the competition.

Each match asks you to score enough points before the opponent does. Winning lets you move forward and face another member of the Elmore group.

Different courts can also change how a match plays. You need to pay attention to the available space rather than using the exact same throw every time.

Two-player mode turns the game into a direct local competition. Both players control a character on the same keyboard and try to outscore each other.

Gumball: Disc Duel keeps the controls simple, but winning consistently takes good positioning. Catch the disc, move into a useful spot, choose the right type of throw, use the walls when they help, and protect your own goal from the return shot.
