Armored Kitten – A Small Cat With Some Very Big Guns

Armored Kitten is a side-scrolling shooting game starring Captain Mittens, an armed cat who responds to a distress signal from a Mars research facility. The place has a serious problem. Zombies, mutants, aliens, and other dangerous creatures have taken over, leaving the heavily armed kitten to fight through them.

The cute main character does not mean the enemies are harmless. Large groups can fill the screen, so movement and accurate shooting matter from the start.

Blast Through Waves of Monsters

You move Captain Mittens around the stage while aiming and firing separately. This lets you walk in one direction while shooting toward another.

Enemies can approach from different parts of the area. Standing still makes it easy for a group to close in, so moving while firing often gives you more room.

The game includes different mission goals. Some stages focus on surviving for a set amount of time. Other missions can give you objectives such as placing bombs while monsters continue attacking.

Locations include areas such as the Mars surface, Bio Labs, and Hydroponic Garden. This changes the surroundings as Captain Mittens works through the campaign.

Unlock Guns, Armor, and Better Skills

Captain Mittens does not need to use the same equipment forever.

Armored Kitten includes more than 20 weapons along with different armor sets, upgrades, and combat skills. Defeated creatures can drop loot that helps pay for stronger equipment.

Power-ups can also appear during the fighting. Some provide stronger damage or temporary weapons, which can help when the screen becomes crowded.

Alongside the main campaign, Survival Mode gives you a more direct challenge. The goal there is to keep fighting against the monsters and build a high score before Captain Mittens finally gets overwhelmed.

Armored Kitten mixes a funny hero with fast shooting action. The basic idea remains easy to follow even as the enemies become tougher. Keep the kitten moving, aim at incoming creatures, collect useful loot, improve the weapons and armor, and survive the strange things waiting inside the Mars facility.
